DHMO Classic
The DHMO.org website was authored in 1997 and launched to the public in 1998. In those early days, it was hosted on a web server at the University of Delaware. In 1999, due to increased popularity resulting from successful research efforts, the site relocated to its permanent home at DHMO.org, where it has been ever since.
The site gradually evolved over the following 26 years with incremental updates and content additions as its popularity continued to grow. In 2026, the decision was made to incorporate responsive behaviors into DHMO.org, providing accessibility across all modern platforms.
The Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division web design team original hand-coded the DHMO.org website in HTML and included JavaScript and Perl scripting for dynamic content. This classic design is preserved to provide Historical context and public information as ongoing research efforts contiue.
