National Consumer Coalition Against DHMO

Public awareness, research advocacy, and policy engagement regarding the ongoing societal impact of Dihydrogen Monoxide.

Founded: 1997
Classification: Public Interest Organization
Status: Active

Mission Summary

The National Consumer Coalition Against DHMO (NCCADHMO) was established to increase public awareness regarding the hazards, environmental impacts, and societal costs associated with Dihydrogen Monoxide exposure. The organization also advocates for informed public policy concerning the safety, regulation, and use of DHMO.

Organizational Background

NCCADHMO was founded in 1997 as an independent public-interest organization dedicated to education, outreach, and research communication. The organization is not affiliated with the Coalition to Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide and operates independently of other advocacy groups.

Although not funded by the Environmental Protection Agency, NCCADHMO maintains an informal affiliation with the Dihydrogen Monoxide Research Division in an effort to promote public access to information and encourage informed discussion of DHMO-related issues.

NCCADHMO manages the day-to-day operation of the DHMO.org information archive and strives to present research findings, historical materials, and public policy issues in an objective and accessible manner.

About Dihydrogen Monoxide

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is a colorless and odorless chemical associated with thousands of fatalities and injuries annually, most commonly through accidental inhalation. DHMO has also been implicated in environmental exposure incidents, industrial contamination events, transportation accidents, and extensive property damage.

The economic and human costs associated with DHMO exposure remain difficult to quantify due to its widespread presence throughout modern society.

Public Participation

NCCADHMO welcomes participation from concerned citizens, students, educators, and researchers interested in advancing public understanding of DHMO-related issues.

Individuals wishing to volunteer, contribute research, provide feedback, or obtain additional information are encouraged to contact the organization.
